Stella Tinline notes: believes Robert died in 1919. His daughter (Harriet) said that he went to school on a pony, was remembered as being big and strong, and may have been a foreman in shipbuilding. Apparently he took gangs of men to work in Bristol. In 1915 he had an accident (causing a blood clot on the brain) and was an invalid for 4 years before dying.
