(1800-1861) |
Mary Dyke
General Notes: Mary Dyke was a witness to the wedding of Honour Dyke to Robert Lambert on 10 October 1832, in Tuttington, Norfolk. Nathaniel Dyke was also a witness. Mary married Matthew Bell, son of William Bell and Ann Sutton, on 22 Jan 1833 in Lamas, Buxton, Norfolk, England. (Matthew Bell was baptised in Nov 1801 in Buxton, Norfolk, England, died in 1871 in Buxton, Norfolk, England and was buried on 13 Jan 1871 in Buxton, Norfolk, England.) Noted events in their marriage were: • Marriage Banns, 6 Jan 1833, Tuttington, Norfolk, England. Also on the 13 and 20 January (or could be June as writing is unclear). Matthew is stated as a Widower and Mary a "Single Woman". It is assumed from this that Matthew's first wife was also called Mary (Ann) and that she died between 1830 and 1833. Marriage Notes: Witnesses: Thomas Dyke (mark of) & Charlotte Rayner |
