Esther Easton

  General Notes:

Esther Easton was the 4th daughter of Robert Easton, land surveyor of Jedburgh.
Her younger sister Mary (b. 1796) married Thomas Wait and their son Robert (b.
20 July 1816 emigrated to N.Z and set up in partnership with his cousin John
Tinline.
In her death entry Esther is recorded as wife of John Turnbull, which error
was corrected by order of the sheriff on 6 Aug 1874.

Esther married John Tinline, son of George Tinline and Margaret Nicholl, on 17 Nov 1814 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. (John Tinline was baptised on 17 Apr 1791 in , Ancrum, Roxburghshire, Scotland, died on 14 Dec 1867 in Murray Park, Magill, Australia and was buried in West Terrace Cemetary, Adelaide, Australia.)
